Concept art to dying light 2 devtool

At the end of 2022 a contest was organized by Techland with their new devtool from dying light 2 Stay human.
I then decided to participate with the idea of making a concept art that I created before but in the devtool.

It allowed me to familiarize myself with the tools and to further develop the idea behind the concept art. What's crazy is to be able to walk around in it once the idea has been transcribed.
But before that I had to start from zero and of course all the game assets were available and we couldn't use custom assets we have to be creative at some point.

It was necessary to add a context, why a city surrounded by container ? Why are people blocked inside? Is this place ancient ?

we are not talking about a big city with a multitude of roads and streets but a vertical container pit which was once a naval port receiving cargo ships (hence the containers)

The tunnels were really fun and hard to do. I had to pay attention to the performance throughout the creation so I placed plane occluders to hide assets behind the planes

I wanted to share the work done for this contest and I am proud of the result.

I loved doing that,

what is really amazing is the fact that you can physically place the sounds directly in blender with the speaker

Hi
i made a scifi theme scene in blender (EVEE) :

So, i started making a simple wall with some scifi look

I put the models together to create a corridor
And create a point of interest for the eyes (basically make the composition)

I made a lot of adjustment on blender to give a good rendering without having to put a texture.
except for the earth :

Photoshop :
-Paint
-Photobashing

It’s funny because it came naturally,

I started by making a corridor not necessarily original but with the idea of the hole it seemed to me obviously to make pieces of the "ship?" fly through the blast and add a human form.
